One point for the Highway department,

They have changed the lane Merge and the right of way where the ramp from route 32 meets the Ramp from Briggs street before dumping out onto I-95 North in New London Connecticut. The sweeping curve where the driver passes over I-95 and joins Briggs no longer has the Right of way. The Ramp from Briggs Street now has the right of way, which should cut down traffic backups through the traffic light and affords the route with a clear view of both traffic patterns the right of way. So if you are coming off of route 32 onto 95 north be prepared to Yield and merge.

The Two lanes no longer run all the way to I-95 any more either, they have designed it so traffic off 32 has to yield and fold into the Briggs lane. This should help the people entering 100 feet ahead off of Eugene O'Neil and Huntington from having two lanes of non merging traffic crowding them over. So far it appears to be much smoother.

So, an Atta-boy for the people who redesigned it.

Now if they could put a kink or chicane in the Briggs Street to frontage road south ramp, which would keep drivers from racing down onto frontage and just diving into exiting traffic, everything would be right with the world,

or at least,
a mile or so of the Interstate in New London.
