Neat idea and if it works, it could mean less time sitting in traffic. But I have a couple of thoughts:
1) I hope they beefed up the brakes on that bike. You're not stopping an 800 lb. bike, but an 800 lb. bike and 5000 lb. car too. 2) So lets say the towing apparatus is another 500 lbs., plus the bike's weight of 800 lbs. that's 1300 lbs. of anchor weight as you're trying to winch a 5000 lb. car onto the towing device. I think the winch may pull the bike towards the car rather than the other way around.
