The 1976 Moto Guzzi Lemans is reportedly one of the Greatest motorcycles of all times. Produced between 1976 and 1978 with a top speed of 133.5 mph this overhead valve air cooled V-twin produced 71-80hp at 7,3000 rpm.
When new the bike retailed in the mid Three thousand dollar range, today's lasting survivors go for around $7,500 to $10,000. In an era when the 750cc bike was considered a Super Bike, Guzzi's 850cc MK1 was at the top of the heap.
1979 Kawasaki jumped up the anti with the 900cc Z1.
But the MK1 remained a crowd favorite.
