I finally got rid of my Galaxy S4

After a year and a half of having a phone that loses contact with it's SIM card and had to be rebooted everyday, sometimes while it was in your pocket, sometimes while you were using it, sometimes while it was SITTING there not being touched. A phone that when you went to use the camera you would get a black screen and a FAIL message, a phone that would open internet windows but would not allow you to close them, a phone that occasionally would go black and start getting hot requiring you to drop the battery and reboot it, a phone that would sometimes go into a series of turning off and restarting and turning off and restarting until it hit the temperature of cooling lava requiring you to, again, drop the battery out of it, a phone that in simple terms was a absolute piece of SHIT from about 4 months after I bought it.

Yesterday, I got rid of that phone.

I picked up an S5 Active, waterproof, armor plated in an armor plated otter box. The new phone is heavier, the new phone is larger, the new phone is fatter, and it came with a Samsung Tablet for 99 cents more.

Last night I set it up, they moved all the button functions and such so it took a couple minutes but it is all reloaded. This morning the alarm, set for 6am...did not go off.  (Shades of S4?)

The Tab is still in it's box. Don't know what to do with that. At 10 inches of screen it doesn't actually fit in your pocket.
