I have to say, yesterdays snow took me by surprise, not only was I not really expecting to see any, but the amount of people who can't drive when it snows is staggering. What did we get, a half inch, and I was in a line of cars on 184 through Groton, at 25 miles an hour. I hit 117 and took that through Ledyard at an average of 40 until I found another crawler from the hill where Holdrege used to be to Poquetonock. Then it was back to speed limits from there to route 32. Route 32 is where I got torqued. A taxi cab, a person who gets paid to drive, could not handle the dusting. He had a line if cars behind him that stretched forever, and two cars between him and I. From 2 all the way to Franklin Hill, 25 miles an hour. I passed all of them where the passing lane starts and was parked and out of my car in the area of route 203 before he went by with his train of cars.
If you can't drive in the snow...Stay Home.
If you have a job driving and can't drive in the snow...
get a new job.
