Every 4th or 5th Sunday I Have to work, It's not a bad thing, it gets me out of the house. I am not looking at a list of things to do that just keeps getting longer. Every major thing you do provides many smaller things. Painting is a major major thing, You paint a room, you do the trim, now you have 20 or so small things that need touch up. Things that would most likely go un-noticed by friends or family visiting, but you know they are there. You do the cabinets, you have one that has a spot that won't hold paint, so, strip it down, clean it, paint it again. Then you find a hinge that needs replacing, a catch that is broken or bent. These are all little things, you move on doing the bigger things but that list of tiny things keeps growing, it grows to the point where the list itself becomes a major thing. Something that eats at you, because the room isn't finished until the details are done, and each room has it's own details list, until that small details list becomes a major list in it's own right. So I am glad I am at work this morning, I am glad I rode Jenny in, I am glad Charlene is, as I am typing this, getting a bath, and because I am hungry I am glad there are hot dogs in the fridge, I am glad I have cheese and onions and all the condiments...What I don't have...are rolls.
Small details....
