Back in the day there was the Fliver

The Fliver, the family car, the jalopy that got you places...
or at least you hoped it would...

Then, Ford came out with the Flivver, Totally different critter...

Nowadays a Fliver is altogether different...

I'm not old enough to have owned a Fliver, I would never have been able to own a Flivver, and I have no interest in every getting a Fliver.

When I was a kid though, I drove a replica Fliver, it was at Rocky Point Amusement Park in Rhode Island. 

But since that park is no longer there...the toy Fliver has gone the way of the real ones

There aren't too many things sadder than a dead amusement park

Remember when Ocean Beach in New London Ct had a real Amusement Park?
