I was under the assumption that Rubberists and Latex enthusiasts used the outfits because they found the things sexy.

I have come to the conclusion that it may be more for personal safety. It may be because of the places they stay at.

I had never thought about this before Doug and I made that ride to Ohio then back through West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland.

Doug found a motel in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia that most likely rents the rooms by the hour along with the normal full night rentals. With hanging plumbing and sink issues, to outlets dangling out of the walls, and a clientele in the office waiting room that looked to be more into crack than a Continental breakfast.

Perhaps those suits are there so that whatever may be living in that bed, left over from the last occupant, can't get you. Sort of like a full body condom.
