That State Pier building is gone, the houses in the bottom left are gone, the tower is gone, and the railroad is just about gone. An occasional yet rare appearance. All those building out in distance on the point are Gone (Coast Guard and Naval Sound Lab) as is most of those buildings in the distance on the other side of the river in Groton (Pfizer).
One year shy of thirty years,
