Gift Run

Other than the issue with the Samsung Galaxy 4 Piece of Shit i have for a phone, the day went off pretty good. I was to meet Reuben at my house, or visa versa. He was going to borrow my Limited but with the time SNAFU I headed to New London at 10:42 thinking he was a no show. I arrived to find Tree was the only one there, we sat around drinking coffee until the correct time arrived.

Previous years Gift Run started with a meet at Dunkin on Colman about an hour earlier, we would then head to Stashes for Breakfast before taking a ride of our own ending up at Harkness for parking duty. Every year see's a pretty big turn out, this year was the exception. The new starting point is Mike's for Breakfast, so we started from there and headed straight to Harkness. Mike's put on a pretty good breakfast.

The weather to start with this morning, in a word, sucked. Cold and windy, at one point, coming across the bridge on the Dyna, it felt like the front of the bike came off the ground. Reuben ended up driving to New London from Plainfield, picked up the fob for the Limited, drove to Mystic, picked up the bike and met us at Mikes. 

The turnout, from what I saw was...very small.
