What I had planned

I had planned on riding with the Club on Sunday, the ride was to Plymouth Massachusetts, for no other reason than the ride, but isn't that enough. Unfortunately I woke up under the weather and it stayed that way through today. I did run out once today, that was for smokes and a coffee. Coffee probably isn't the smartest think to drink when you are ill but, when you drink it every day...Its hard to stop. One cool thing this weekend, I rode on Saturday after work with a Bimmer rider, It's OK though, both he and his bike were down right cool. I was cruising down River road in Old Mystic and out of a driveway ahead of me a black and white bike pulled out, the Rider was wearing a brown worn leather jacket, the bike had "Antique" plates. I followed him into Mystic were he turned off onto Pearl street. This allowed my to continue straight and get a head of him, I pulled over and waited. He is proud of the fact that the bike is older than he is, it was built in 1957. The bike is absolutely beautiful the way all the classic ones are. You can see by one look at the bike it is an object of love and cared for. I asked to take a picture of him and his bike then found the camera I keep in the tour pack was dead. So no pix, he said, "That's alright, he's always around and I can get the shot another day". I continued down Pearl as he took Gravel street, as I hit West Main and headed for the bridge he pulled up at the stop sign, behind him, an old Willy's Jeep. Seems it was a day for the classics.
